Artist Statement

These fashion photographs while are not strictly about the model’s beauty but rather the way the lighting, color and style in the images interact with each other. My interest was to create a set of dynamic images suggesting movement, and energy. I have developed the characteristics of the photographs through the color, lighting and different approaches to photographing. My thesis has allowed me to be completely free in my approach and process. I feel that throughout the past couple of months I have been able to bring new ideas or concepts to each shoot, allowing me to produce different images within a body of work.
